Short Biography
Prof. XUAN is an associate professor at Northeast Asian Studies College, Jilin University. Before she joins Jilin University, she served as an assistant professor at Korea E-Trade Research Institute, Chong-Ang University during the spring semester in 2015, as Humanities Korea (HK) research professor at the Asiatic Research Institute, Korea University from 2015 to 2018. She obtained her B.A. in Management from Jilin University in 2007 and received her M.A.in Economics in Jilin University in 2009. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Korea University in 2015.
Research Interests
Prof. Xuan specializes in applied macroeconomics and the Korean economy. Her areas of research include time series analysis, macroeconomics, and the Northeast Asian economy. The specific research fields include empirical studies on consumption and output, financial market, industry structural change, and sustainable development in the Northeast Asian countries.
